Guest Moorings
There are around 30 guest moorings at the far end of the north side of the pontoon jetties, depth 6 m (20 ft). All guest moorings are bow-in to the jetty. You will also find a rope end for mooring the stern. It is attached to a chain about 20 m (65 ft) out.
There are also NEW berths for boats up to max. 7 m (23 ft) in the harbour next to the PREEM fuel station. There are also a number of places to the left of the PREEM jetty.
Enter harbour to the west of the jetties toward the village.
NOTE! Limited depth at these moorings is around 1–1.5 m (3 to 5 ft) at mean water level.
NOTE! Anchoring is forbidden throughout the harbour. There are pipelines and chains & concrete anchors on the bottom.
Electricity for battery charging (not for heating etc.) can be purchased at the outer pontoon jetties. Freshwater is also available; we ask that you use water as sparingly as possible as we do not have municipal water at Björholmen.
WC, shower and laundry section
There are new, clean toilets, handicap toilets and showers on the east lower level of the Storehouse. There is a laundry section next door, where you will find large, reliable machines, tumble driers and ironing boards etc.
