We have held many cultural events at the Marina. Musical evenings at the jetty restaurant are greatly appreciated. We have also organized many art exhibitions.

We have held pottery, glassware and painting exhibitions in the Boathouse, which have proven to be very popular, and we are making further efforts in this area.

We have organized Culture Packages with accommodation, our own events and visits to local artists, or perhaps a visit to the Nordic Watercolour Museum, Pilane Heritage.  And maybe round off dinner with suitably harmonious music.

Pilane Ancient Burial Site & Stone Sculptures

This extraordinarily spectacular place is only 4 km from the Marina. Don't miss it! A sheep farmer and sculpture devotee runs the park at the Pilane ancient burial site, among free-roaming sheep and millennia-old ancient monuments. The hilly setting creates natural podiums for the art, while grazing sheep keep weeds and brushwood away.

The result is a tremendous success – 60,000 visitors last year. The exhibition is open all year round, and is always magical whenever you visit. If you want to take a trip to Pilane, let us know. We'll be happy to fix you a lunch box, and we have bicycles for rent.
