Our location and surroundings are unique. The very best conditions for improving on a truly magnificent place among the cliffs, by the sea, are found right here. You won't want to leave. People come here for rest, to take time to delight in the peace and quiet, the colours and the scenery. And the best of decisions are also made here, because there is no commotion to disturb your concentration.

We try to provide you with the best conditions for enjoying this experience, and we achieve them by putting you in cosy, pleasant surroundings. So we created designer accommodation with splendid sitting rooms, all in natural surroundings. And then we add good food. We don't believe in extravagance and luxury; they have no place here. Instead we try to create good, agreeable standards from start to finish.

Activities, to the extent you may be looking for them, are small scale. If you'd like to take a cycle ride and experience the surrounding scenery we have bicycles for rent. The Pilane sculpture exhibition is only 3 km away. It's a must! And there are fantastic opportunities for swimming and walking. In the autumn we organize lobster weekends, wellness weekends and culture weekends. In the winter we meet around the Christmas table. Björholmen's Marina lives all year round!

Opportunities for longer trips are very good. Visits to the Nordic Watercolour Museum, Havets Hus sealife centre and/or Nordens Ark animal sanctuary are not to be missed.

Tjörn has also become renowned as a destination for enjoying the good art at its many galleries. Sometimes there are scenes from surrounding areas, and we often see easels set up in the Björholmen neighbourhood. We have held a number of exhibitions in our Boathouse.

We can organize events for larger groups such as boat trips etc. Our current premises have facilities for banqueting events for up to 110 seated guests. There can hardly be a better place for exchanging rings!
